Guide & Process Full Screen Mode: Expand Process Participants
It is now easy to expand process participants in the process overview so that you can see which users are stored for which roles, groups or org. units. This expandable detail information about process participants can now be used in the Guide and in full screen mode as of our December 18th release. As in the process overview, you can easily see which users are saved and also navigate to the profiles. This means that all users in Bpanda have access to the same information, regardless of whether they prefer to use the process overview, the Guide or full screen mode for this.
Modeler: Search Function
As process designer, you routinely use the Modeler to create and edit processes. You can use CTRL + F to search your process drafts in the Modeler. The corresponding position is then highlighted in the process and you can also jump directly there. The search function is particularly helpful in large processes with many lanes and tasks so that you can quickly make changes to certain areas, e.g. following a review. Give it a go directly in your next process draft!
Improvements and Performance Enhancements for Bpanda
We want it to be fun using Bpanda while also being efficient. This is why we invested a lot of time improving performance and making Bpanda as user-friendly as possible for our December release. We spent the whole of 2024 beavering away busy in the background to improve technology and add new features to help you when working with Bpanda to make it even better, smoother and more intuitive.
We have also fixed bugs which customers found in this release:
If you hid a process, some of the process owner/collaborator/participant information stored in the process overview used to not be shown. This display problem has now been fixed. This means that stored role information is now visible even for hidden processes.
If you modeled processes in Innovator using lanes and then imported these to Bpanda, then an additional frame used to be added when adding participants in the Bpanda Modeler. This has now been fixed and is BPMN-compliant.
If you have marked a user for deletion, then you are now also informed about which groups the member to be deleted belongs to. This makes it easier to see where the user will be deleted and what affect will be had.
Changing the name of an organizational unit or organizational role and then clicking on Enter used to mean that the change was not adopted. This has now been fixed and clicking on Enter when changing the name now saves the changes in Bpanda.
